IEC 62668-1:2019+AMD1:2024 CSV establishes requirements aimed at preventing the use of counterfeit, recycled, and fraudulent components within the aerospace, defense, and high-performance (ADHP) industries. It also outlines requirements for these industries to protect their intellectual property (IP) related to all products and services. The risks associated with sourcing components from outside franchised distributor networks are addressed in IEC 62668-2. Although primarily developed for the avionics sector, this document can also be utilized by other high-performance and high-reliability industries at their discretion.
